Jay was very responsive, professional and showed up exactly when he committed. I needed to move a large piece of equipment on short notice and Jay was very accommodating. His attention to detail when tying down my machine gave me confidence that I was in good hands.

Jay is extremely professional and a pleasure to work with. We needed a pipe replaced and he came in mid project, after the previous company backed out. He was very responsive and kept us informed every step of the way. It was also very clear from our interactions that he genuinely cares about the job at hand and providing his customers with top notch service. He replaced our pipe and got everything back to normal quickly, which is a relief for us. I would absolutely recommend him and would call him again should the need arise.

Jay is a top-notch Professional! He is responsive and easy to communicate with. He is punctual, reliable, dependable, and great to work with. We were in need of a fair amount of stumps and slash from previous tree work removed. Hauling and grading were necessary following this work to make everything right. This project was on a significant hill and he was very skilled at handling our drainage/runoff needs. The estimate was very fair and Jay walked us through his expectations for the job, keeping us in the loop every step of the way. The project has been completed to our agreed-upon specs, on time, and within our budget even with the last-minute changes and additions we made to the job. Working with Jay was a wonderful experience. We would not hesitate to recommend HJP Excavation (Jay) to everyone. Our place looks great! We are truly thankful we called him for our landscaping/excavation job and will definitely do so again in the future.
