I thought that I had run out of oil today, so I called and spoke with an actual human being at 5:45 am. And the oil truck was here at 8 oclock! Come to find out, it was a bad oil burner nozzle And that was fixed, that afternoon! And when I first spoke with the Representative he says, no worries thats what we are here for! Tremendous Service, TYVM Townsend NH

March 2024: after everything was finally handled, which was a disaster, I had no more troubles with our furnace. I've had my tank filled once since then. All seems to be well, still. Star Update: Bob Milliken, new CEO, reached out to me in regard to my review. He took the time to understand my interaction history and is working hard to retain my business. Eary november. 1 star**For the last year, it has been an absolute nightmare to try and do good business with this company. I have had nothing but misinformation and a headache. I will be finding a new company to service my home.

Customer service would not be their strong point. Or their pricing. Since I dont use a lot of propane I understand our price was higher. But after shopping around we found out they were charging us over $1.30/gal more than the new company we are now with. I was also double charged for my delivery over two weeks ago and have yet to be refunded for the second charge. Also regarding their customer service: when talking to them on the phone I have been hung up on, yelled at, and argued with. On top of this, we switched to the new company 2 weeks ago and are still waiting for them to pick up their two tanks (which they charge $250 for pickup by the way). We have had two no-call no-shows when they were scheduled to come pick up their tanks and didnt show up. When I called to ask them again to pick up, I was told they would come get them next week. When I replied thats what you said last week their answer was we will get there when we get there. TLDR: charged $1.30/gal over competitor. Double charged for a delivery two weeks ago and yet to be refunded. I switched to a new company and Townsend charges $250 for tanks to be picked up, and they have been no-call no-shows for the two days we were supposedly on their schedule. Do not recommend.

I used them last year for auto delivery of oil. We had them out to address issues with our boiler. The first tech has no clue what he was doing at all spent 4 hours at our house. Tried saying that we needed a whole new system and spend thousands of dollars on a complete redo. He left towels saying that they just throw them away. Charged $50 for wash towels and had left a valve open. Ended up with a 2nd tech with more experience showing up was at the house for 30 minutes and got the system working for the whole house to be heated. 2nd tech was great. We were given a credit that they "accidentally" forgot to use multiple times. Sales guy also failed to inform us that auto delivery means more than one season. They filled our tank in August and at a higher price than anyone else in the area by $2.00 per gallon. I have had conversations with them about all of the above. So this shouldn't be news to them.

A few days ago, in the morning, I called Townsend office in Somersworth, NH and spoke to Heidi. Recently, I noticed that my hot water boiler heating system had a few leaks. I have a pretty good knowledge of this heating system and expressed my concerns. Heidi, who was very nice, understood, took notes and submitted a work request. Later in the afternoon, my doorbell rang and it was Tyler (Heating Technician). We had a short conversation, he examined the system, ordered parts and got right to work. Prior to dinner time, the system was repaired, up and running perfectly. Tyler is top notch and I am very impressed with his knowledge and professionalism. A thumbs up to Heidi, Tyler and Townsend Energy!
