        Lovely place, beautiful rooms. The staff are extremely welcoming and friendly. Town center is cute, within walking distance and have plenty of places to shop, eat and enjoy the views.

        Tastefully done restoration with a number of modern features. Staff is exceptionally friendly and go out of their way to make you feel at home. Will definitely go back. Rooms: Very comfortable. Some with gas fireplace. Bathroom has heated floor and great shower. Walkability: Easy walk to downtown Wolfeboro and the lake. Food & drinks: Cookies and morning pastry provded as well as a complete breakfast. Beer and wine available at the hotel. Many restaurants nearby.

        My partner and I love the Pickering Inn. We are repeat customers and while its a three-hour car ride from our house in MA, our stay there is worth every minute of the drive. The Inn is beautiful, the rooms are very comfortable and luxurious, the breakfasts are super, the staff is very friendly and accommodating, and the dinners at the Pavilion restaurant are truly amazing. We cant say enough good things about this Inn. Walkability: One can park the car at the Inn and not have to get back into it until you leave. The shops, the Lake, the restaurants, the stores, etc., are all within walking distance.

        The inn was clean , cozy and comfortable. Impeccably decorated. Staff was extremely friendly, helpful, courteous and went out of their way to help us with activities and make us feel comfortable. The freshly baked afternoon treats were delicious. No expense was spared in the renovation of the property. I highly recommend the stay. We look forward to returning. Walkability: Right on Main St. Great location across from Brewster Academy and just up from the waterfront activities, shops, and restaurants. Food & drinks: The breakfast along with the kitchen/dining room was excellent. Their affiliation with the restaurant next-door, The Pavillion was well worth it. The best food in Wolfeboro.
