Was referred by my GP but couldn’t get appt for about 6 months. When it finally came around, doc had an emergency that day and the next available appt was 6 weeks later. Office then called 3x to keep moving the appt earlier in the day—ended up with a 7:30am appt time, which is a little nuts but I accepted it. Just heard that they need to reschedule me again, for 8 weeks later. Called the office to ask why and they rudely said that the doctors schedule had changed. No apology or anything. When I expressed frustration, receptionist got ruder and told me she’d need to speak to the doc about “fitting me in” like I was the one who created the issue. I told them not to bother and hung up. Then got a call back saying that the doc could see me but only if I could come in first thing the next day. No thanks. If you are looking for a cardiologist who thinks your time is equally valuable, I’d avoid this one.

Dr. Spano-Brennan is one of the best cardiologists I have seen (been to NY Langone and NY Presbyterian with top docs) for an ongoing chronic issue - she is stellar in her knowledge, treatment plans and genuine care of her patients - HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!
