I wanted to recommend Barka Restaurant, just around the corner on 60 West 46 East, to everyone. We enjoyed the lunch special today, very, very reasonable for a 3-course meal. The fish is fabulous (the salmon very lean), and I noticed that all the other diners were Asian. They tend to know their seafood! My appetizer, sauteed artichokes, was fresh, not canned, piquant and delicious. One of the desserts was Revani, a delightful mixture of of lemon and coconut cake, not too heavy, to light, nor to sweet - sensational.
