I called in late October to make an appointment for a potential issue because another doctor said I should seek out a neurologist. The earliest they had available was mid-December, so I took it. They called me today, the week of the appointment, saying the appointment was cancelled because they don't handle my issue even though I told them when I called what the issue was. Almost a month and a half to tell me what they could have told me the same day I called in October or even that week. A literal waste of time and now I have to scramble before the year ends to go to the right kind of doctor. The level of competence is amazing, truly.

I've been a patient of Dr. Gans for a few years following a bad outbreak of migraines. He was and continues to be a huge help to me and my noggin! I also have a chronic autoimmune disease and he takes that into account when treating me. This part of my review is in response to Michael Kellys negative review about Dr. Gan reporting his depressed and anxious mother to the DMV. I'm sorry to hear of his moms symptoms following the death of her husband of 50 years, but if a doctor thinks someone is a danger on the road, s/he is REQUIRED BY LAW to report that to the DMV. There is no no driving for seniors crusade. And of course no doctor will go against it; what if his mother were to hurt or kill herself or someone else on the road? My father was a doctor and people here in the US are sue-happy. As for her depression and anxiety, she may be better served by a psychiatrist. Gr. Gan may have been able to refer her to one. I sincerely hope she feels better soon.

Dr. Gan conducted an EMG and nerve conduction study for me. He was excellent and thorough, explained everything and made me feel very comfortable for a stressful test. Would highly recommend him.
