One of the worst experiences of my life and I deserve a partial refund. City Line contracted out to All Together Movers and they were AWFUL! Problems from the start, charged double than quoted, refused to move my couch and left it STANDING UP IN MY KITCHEN for 10 days and NEVER CAME BACK! I had to pay someone else to move it into my living room. I put in complaint to the Better Business Bureau about all this. Miserable! One star is generous. Should be negative 100!

They use an insurance adjuster, CSI, for any and all claims. There was damage on our move. We filed the claim and it was accepted by CSI. A demand for payment was issued by CSI. They are contractually required to pay it now--but they haven't. I'll remove this post if they do - but if you see this post it means they aren't paying insurance claims for losses. Buyer beware.

Update to previous post. The previous owner of my home used a mover to relocate, CityLine Movers, they departed on 12/1/22 at 11AM and left the state. We arrived at the home on 12/1/22 at 1PM with our relator and discovered the badly damaged floors. We never met the movers or the previous owner. My relator had to track down his information where he relocated in another state, so we could file a claim. They were long gone before we arrived. We do have pictures showing no damage from 11/15/22. Here is the explanation from CSIPros (apparently representing CityLine Movers in some fashion), sent to the previous owner, that was forwarded to me, by the previous owner: "Analysis: No notations regarding the property damage you are now claiming were taken at the time of delivery, to indicate that the damage was caused by the movers.... Therefore this portion of your claim is respectfully declined" The damaged starts in the kitchen from where the refrigerator was and runs all the way to the garage door, leaving deep gouges in the hardwood flooring. So, because the previous owner (whom I have never met) did not notice the damage and CityLine Movers (whom I have never met) did not document any damage, CSIPros has declined? Really? Apparently, I will need legal support to resolve this. CityLine Movers and CSIPros both deserve "0 stars". This will be posted to CityLine movers as well.

I wish their was a minus star option! So, how City Line Movers works is like this: Once you're impressed with their slick web site listing their many "awards" and you call them, they reel you in with a young man (who I won't name but is English speaking) explaining very professionally how the process works. They reassure you how smooth everything will be, even though their company is 3,000 miles away from your home. They take $$. Then you're turned over to a sweet talking woman (who will also remain nameless) with whom you list each item to be moved. She guesstimates how much space each item will require in a truck. They take $$. Long story short, our four movers that were promised became two young guys (NOT professional movers) that drove 300 miles overnight to our city and then rented a U-Haul truck. They showed up late. They got the truck partly loaded and then said we reached the space limit for the amount of $$ we paid. It's the weekend and no way to reach City Line. The guys called their "boss" (originally from Kazakhstan) who spoke no English. Long story short, I told them I would give them no more $$ until the job was done. The stress was terrible as they insist you must "follow the contract" and turn over $$. We were harassed and intimidated and I threatened to call the Sheriff. I had to sign sheet after sheet to get them to finish the job. They did not finish on time because there was only two guys. It was AWFUL!! I filed a dispute with my credit card company later and thankfully was able to recoup some of my $$. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!
