We believed we had mold in our living room ceiling. We called our insurance NJM and they called this company to come out and access if it was mold. Without doing any testing or anything they told NJM it was dirt or soot. NJM then wouldnt do anything further despite us arguing it was mold. One year later I noticed its worse than it was. Called another two companies out outside of insurance and they both said that is 100% mold and it needs to be removed immediately. My family has been breathing in mold for over a year because of the negligence of this company. Avoid them at all costs.

After a chimney fire at our home our insurance company put us in touch with John Heaton from Mark 1 Restoration in Flemington. John then met with us to review the estimate and answer any questions as well as to educate us on the part we would play moving forward. For mold remediation, if you don't have an insurance claim don't bother calling. They won't even give you a quote with out the claim. My insurance company told me to get quotes first and they still won't even come out and look at it.

We were told to have them evaluate our bathroom after we saw mold around our tub. Our insurance company, NJM, uses their service to remediate and renovate. After receiving a quote full of inaccurate descriptions and unnecessary charges they told us they weren't interested in the job because it was too small for them and they won't make a profit. I am not sure what kind of scam they have running with NJM but it is obvious that they have no desire to help those who aren't willing to acquise to their scheming ways. The insurance company was just as happy to write us a check be done with them as well.
