    Worst experience ever! Purchased a Wood Stove, gave deposit and they said they would bring it to our place the following weekend. The weekend came, and went, no stove, no phone call. Called 3 times, left messages. Never a call back. Dave said (3 weeks later), he promised to bring it out the next Saturday. We had 2 guys here waiting to help bring in the stove. No show, no phone call, nothing! I called the main office and I was told they sold the stove to 2 people and the other person got the stove. A simple phone call in the very beginning would have eased the situation. These things happen. But, the disrespect shown to us, this total disregard of a customer is unacceptable. Beware of this company. You may be next!

    We purchased a beautiful gas insert from wood heat months ago. There have been several interactions which have been less than stellar. Our fireplace is awkward so we asked that someone come view it in person before we order to ensure that everything would fit. We were ensured that it would fit with the photos we provided. Install 1- they came and installed without the screen and with a gapping 4 in gap on the top without it even being flush to the brick they simply said were done without acknowledging it until i brought it up. They said the surround doesnt fit so they have to bring it back and trim it and they will install the whole thing with the screen. This really irritated us because we wouldnt have let them install if we knew the screen wouldnt be in leaving a hazard for our kids. Not to mention the vent cap we asked to keep from our old set up that they took with them. Install 2- No show. No phone call Install 3- surround still doesnt fit leaving a 2 in gap above the fireplace. They said Dave will come himself Install 4- 3 hours passed the window given guy shows up with the part in the wrong color with a can of spraypaint - which is also the wrong color. He finishes but leave a huge gap at the bottom of the fireplace and it looked terrible. At this point we had the expectation that the project would be complete After contacting Dave about our dissatisfaction and included several photos. he said the correct part is being made and it will be solved in a week. WEEKS WENT BY WITH NO COMMUNICATION Finally he emailed us to set up a final install date- he ensured us the installer had everything he needed three days in advance. At about 8pm the night before we received a voicemail from the installer asking for photos so he knew what to bring. Install 5- No call no show. No acknowledgment of it the next business day either. At this point we are doing the rest ourselves We are really reasonable people and understand things happen but the lack of respect for our time is a deal breaker for us. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. There are so many other distributors that offer the same brands.

    This has been a nightmare dealing with this company. It started when I ordered a stove in Feb '22. I contacted them 3 times in April, June and August, each time, the production date moved back 2 or 3 months. You had to stop into their showroom because calls were never returned.  They told me in late Sep. that it would not arrive until "maybe" early 2023 so I bought a different one ( Jotul Oslo F500 V3 ) that was in stock and cost $1300 more ( close to $6,000 installed ). After waiting until 1 PM  for an installation that was scheduled for 9 AM and several unanswered phone calls to the showroom, a third party sub contractor arrived to do the installation. They had the wrong stove with them so we had to wait another hour until the correct stove arrived.  It was brand new in a crate but defective from day one,  with a  door handle that was extremely hard to close. Also, a few weeks later, we noticed that the welds that hold the stove together were coming loose!They tried to fix the handle three times over a period of three months but were unsuccessful.  Now with the added welding issue, they said that they won't take responsibility for correcting this and to contact the MFR!The parent company is in PA so we have filed a complaint with PA Consumer Affairs.
