The Surf Club

My husband and I were very happy with our recent stay at the Surf Club. It was a perfect location. One block from the boardwalk and beach! Restaurants and shopping are in walking distance. The room was clean, stylish and new. The shower was amazing. Parking was close. They had everything we expected. We also enjoyed the peace and quiet. We will be back again. The price was also right. I have one suggestion: better exterior lighting in the parking area and maybe reset the timers on the hallway lighting. Otherwise we were very pleased and would certainly recommend the Surf Club. Rooms: Modern and clean Nearby activities: The boardwalk is a block away Safety: Safe and quiet area Walkability: Only one block from boardwalk and beach.

Our family of 3 stayed here and we loved it. The suite was very clean and modern looking. We liked the easy check in and how each room was its own unit. We will be back next Summer to enjoy a longer stay!

We stayed at the Surf Club for 2 nights over Labor Day weekend. Location is great! A block walking distance to the middle of the boardwalk.The room itself was nice with how new and up to date the bathroom and furniture were, however, it was quite small and missing some necessities. There was no blow dryer or chairs in the room which left the bed as the only option for seating. The refrigerator was full of water so we didn't use it. Our major complaint which we were not expecting at all was that there was no maid service. For the price we were paying we expected normal hotel turn over service, clean towels and garbage disposal. Additionally we thought the hotel had a pool but it just includes access to a pool a cross the street. We were a little disappointed that the parking lot was about 4 blocks away but ultimately glad parking was included. I do have to say Jackie was very friendly and easy to contact if we needed information! Walkability: Really great location, close to the boardwalk and beach

While I was skeptical at first because of the low number of reviews I was really happy with my stay! It was a great location for the money spent. Just a heads up if everyone in the room is not above 25 you do need to leave a $200 deposit that you get back at the end. The hotel is new so there are minor adjustments I think that need to be made but nothing that wouldnt stop me from going back again and should more than likely be perfected by next summer. I had a great time. Would recommend. :)
