        Before coming to this school, I used to hate violin, regarding it as a task on a to do list to complete. Now, after Ive had lessons with Ms. Ivy for over a year, Ive regained the sense of joy I used to have while playing the violin. Ms. Ivy has patiently helped me through countless problems, not only technical, but musical too. Ive even won competitions with her teaching me and pushing me to do my best! Its clear to me that this school values quality playing over just playing an instrument for the sake of doing it. I would highly recommend this school to anyone wanting to learn an instrument!

        I started learning violin by myself in the summer of last year and ended up picking some bad form. When I started classes with Ivy last November she patiently worked with me to correct these issues and has helped restart my journey of learning violin. As an adult learner its easy to loose motivation and give up but conversations with Ivy in and after the class have helped keep the motivation going to continue on the path to learning this instrument well.
