I can vouch for the review from five years ago, because we are currently going through this. My wife went a few weeks ago and was pushed into paying 1/2 of an $800+ "global maternity package". The next week my wife was rebuked when she tried asking questions. They never produced a single invoice. I went with her the next week asking questions about the and the billing employee starts reaching across the counter trying to grab my credit card. I tell her I'm not spending any money until I'm told in writing what this massive payment is for, and that my insurance company doesn't have any information about these payments. Finally, they tried telling us that we hadn't updated our new insurance information (we had, and I have records from our new insurance company that they have been using since November). Still, when I keep asking them where the invoice is for the services we were being charged for, they scrambled and still couldn't provide a single thing. As for the doctors, we've had good doctors and bad doctors here. The worst was a rather new doctor who told my wife after an abnormal scan: "I have never seen *condition* before and I don't feel comfortable counseling you on it" which then leads to unnecessary anxiety. Generally, the older doctors are pretty good and very talented. But, seriously, the billing department employees here are pushy, rude, and unprofessional. I seriously question the integrity of the billing department, and still wonder where my money is.

Very, smart, very thorough, excellent judgement. Seen him since 1990 and he pretty much looks the same. Always has a post-exam chat in his office to explain anything (or nothing) that might have been evidenced. Felt the need to post after seeing that odd one star review - this has not been my 30 year experience and I would have bailed a long time ago if behavior like that was common.

I can't say enough about Dr. Friedman. He takes time with you to talk and he's extremely thorough. Very happy to have moved to this practice and to be under his care
