I began using the Bank of Princeton for my business during the pandemic for a PPP loan for my business. Since that time I have opened personal accounts at the Montgomery Branch where I met the Branch Manager, Roberto. He is the best banker I have ever encountered. He has taken care of all my banking needs and goes above and beyond to ensure I am taken care of. I now recommend Roberto and his branch to my colleagues and friends. He is truly an asset to the Bank of Princeton .

We decided to take advantage of the great money market rates The Bank of Princeton is offering these days, and made a visit to the Princeton branch late in the day to open an account. An existing customer shared his experience the bank which was nothing short of stellar, particularly with regard to the staff being personally engaged in responding to their patrons' needs and concerns. Rian Andrews stayed late and made sure we got our account set up that day. He took great care of us. In transferring funds into our new account, our 'too-big-to-fail' external bank was very difficult to work with, but Rian and his staff engaged with the external bank on several occasions to resolve the external bank's issues. We are very happy with initial experience with everyone at The Bank of Princeton.

Unexepectedly lazy and borderline unethical lending practices and staff. I approached BoP for a fixed home equity loan. I delivered an absurd amount of physical documents containing PII, had my credit pulled, and multiple conversations detailing the property and its improvements. The loan was promptly denied due to a clearly inaccurate automated valuation report. A simple sales comp search for my zip code would have indicated the report as flawed. The report was $110,000 less than the formal appraisal conducted one month later. I went with another bank that actually performed due diligence and got the loan I needed.
