        Is the best most wonderful longest trail you can walk or run or ride your bike or do whatever and everybody on the trail is very nice especially when you say don't ride in the box or walking the dog is very peaceful and wonderful nice trail to walk or to run on Dog-friendliness: Yes you can walk your dog on your trail too

        Nice scenic bike ride about 11 miles north to the Rutgers campus. You'll be better off with wider tires and a suspension; there are some short rough stretches that will punish narrow tires. The views of the river and abandoned canal infrastructure are lovely, particularly on a crisp autumn day. Dog-friendliness: The trail is very popular with the canine class. On the day of my visit, dogs and their human companions outnumbered cyclists 2-1.
