I was surprised to see the reviews around lack of follow up etc. We used Lucas on both a small project (metal roof) installed to replace 40+ year old failing roof on a weekend cabin as well as a massive job involving copper, complete Yankee gutter repairs, synthetic slate shingles and the end result is beautiful, functioning great and the experience was excellent. Lucas was immediate in his responses to address any concerns or follow up. Also, one of these projects was close to $100k - Lucas' quote was about the same as 3 other quotes we received, yet he was using higher end materials than what everyone else proposed - eg, everyone else recommended asphalt shingles which don't really match the style of the home (and are cheaper than what we went with / less durable).  Thus, we couldn't help but conclude that some of the other companies were padding their margins pretty dramatically. We found Lucas to be extremely trustworthy and committed to doing things the right way.  Highly recommend.

Don't use this company. Had a leak into our house. Called him, said he was going to come in the afternoon and never showed. Just call to say you can't make it, simple courtesy.
