I recently stayed 2 nights this hotel the weekend of the March 1st -3rd. The first night I was awakened with bed bug bites all over my arms. I spoke with one of the front desk associates that morning and her first statement was those arent bed bug bites with a chuckle . Not an apology for my inconvenience or anything pertaining to my uncomfortable stay.age went on to start a story if a man with bed bug bites and I interrupted her and stated from past experience years ago from a one time incident that was quickly resolved with bed bug bites, I know what the welts and bites on my arm are. I ask her in return, well what do you think it is ? Clearly insulted. She quickly stated she apologizes for my inconvenience and asked to change my room. Because I didnt know the area all to well and wasnt too happy with the surrounding hotels in the area I accepted the alternative room. I waited in the lobby to speak with the manager, Cassie Zeng, before heading up to the room. She apologized for the inconvenience of what happened to me but for verification purposes she couldnt agree that I was bitten by bed bugs until their certification company comes to check out the blocked room. I informed her of the statement the front desk associate made and she somewhat agreed with her because my skin wasnt bright red. I interrupted her as well and stated I have black skin. It wont be beaming red like hers would be if she was bitten. She nodded and agreed with my statement. Im in disbelief that I have to defend myself to these two women after I had to compare my bites/welts to images online for them to see the comparison. She initially offered me a 25% discount for my 1at night and I asked why wouldnt I get the whole night taken off of my stay if I slept in discomfort. She informed me she couldnt give me a full discount unless it was verified that a bed bug bit me. She informed the the highest discount she could give me is a 40% discount. I accepted and went to check out the room. The room I was given was a double Queen suite. I did a bed inspection and noticed that one of the beds had blood on one of the sheets in which I had to return to the front desk to express my concern that the room wasnt properly cleaned. She offered my another room which was a double Queen and was clean enough for my stay after inspecting the bedding/mattress and well as the rest of the room. Overall that was the worst hotel stay of my life and will not be returning.
