1 star for the shady payment terminals that don't let you finalize your payment until you select a tip of 10%, 15% or 20%. There is no "no tip" option. Update: According to the owner the issue has been fixed.

**update** 4/24 Its sad to lower the review on the Flying Star Caf it used to be one of our favorite places to eat out. They were always a little bit spendy, but at least the food was good. We have been back many times since that first review and meals for two were high, but we felt they were fair for quality and quantity. The last couple of times weve been there we have noticed that the portion sizes are getting smaller and the food is all right but they have a jump to $70 for fish and chips and chicken risotto, and one drink was a little bit high. Unfortunately, flying star is not the only restaurant doing this. The giant jump in pricing closed down how many times we go out to eat. We can afford to eat anywhere we want, but the value versus cost has reached a point where were not getting what we pay for. The good news is that we save money by not eating out very much. Nice place. Seems to be popular with college students? We went there in the late evening and there was a lot of people doing homework and on laptops. I cant vouch for the baked goods. All we had was Rootbeer floats. We did feel that they were a bit spendy. For 2 it cost almost $11. Place had a good feel about it. I would visit again.

We enjoyed the entire experience. Great coffee, great food, wonderful people. Clean.
