A gentleman by the name of Jose approached me and claimed the company he was with could redo my driveway and look at my roof for "no money out of pocket". I agreed and he did his measuring and inspection. He then came back a day or so later and claimed he worked a deal with his boss to complete the driveway as a "side job'' if I paid cash and that his boss preferred this project to be of the books because it was small and could be done quickly. I then was given 24 hours to come up with the 50% down deposit. I called later that night and canceled because I felt it was a little shady. He then started arguing stating that we had a verbal agreement and that I now owed his boss this money or I'd be taken to court. I made some calls and found his legal findings were off base. I then had another contractor come and give me an estimate only to find that Alliance was over charging by almost $500! So not only is this company shady in how they do business but they prey on people who "need" the work done, over charge them and then ask for cash to hide it from Uncle Sam. I have contacted the BBB and my neighborhood association of homeowners. These guys give a bad name to legit businesses. Oh and just to circle back, they never brought up my roofing estimate, as Jose claimed his boss wasn't much of a roofing estimator and was looking for an actual roofing company to help get it priced out. FLAT OUT JOKE OF A COMPANY.
