Very much enjoyed my residency until I didnt. Property quickly deteriorated with security shifts being cut and daily onsite presence from property management removed. Dumpsters were overrun with trash and property was frequently littered and graffitied by unhoused. Property management frequently hassled tenants with arbitrary parking rules, even towing tenant vehicles. GDR refused to work with tenants when a sale of the building to the city was announced on local news. Building was said to be repurposed for affordable senior citizen housing. When GDR was asked for details, they withheld information from tenants and only said the building is not under contract and leases would be enforced. When I asked the city for details, I was contacted by GDR and told to stop asking for information. Strongly suggest considering any other property management company when looking for your next home.

Pretty sure this review isnt even necessary as you can see the hundreds of others and honestly I have personally owns property, had management companies the whole works in many different states and I have truly never seen a company that is not only is this incompetent, but it also just simply greedy, and their bottom line is to get as much money as you as possible and kick you to the curb. They have even literally now begun enforcing Ridiculous parking pass rules, constantly showing up to the property and not only bothering their own tenants, but also bothering the neighboring buildings tenants all in an extremely rude way. Never once even introduced herself, or said her name just violently pounded on my door, and before it was even fully open and just began yelling at me with an instant attitude, which, by the way, it was literally only over a few boxes that were slightly on their property line which is no problem, and I totally understand that but Theres ways you handle these things and knocking on my door like a maniac and acting like one is definitely not. Quite literally the most unprofessional thing I have ever dealt with in my life and I live in Albuquerque. especially after the interaction I had today Ive already spoken with an attorney and I will be filing complaints with the AGs office in the state of New Mexico as well as the BBB. And lucky for me, Ive literally been collecting direct and clear evidence of them doing extremely shady things and flat out lying to their tenants about things as I cant go into detail as to why, but I had involved somebody I knew who used to live with GDR and had problems after he left and so I started documenting everything as well as I have a bottle $5000 security system that literally catches everything that goes on this entire block both sound and vision and which I have them caught in direct lies at least three times and pretty big serious ones like I said its still pending matter so I cant say much. They are truly 100% just out for money as just last week another friend of mine who lives in one of their units woke up one day to all his vehicles having tags on them saying they are going to get towed and so he obviously called the office and asked how to go about it etc. etc. and basically they told them that hes got a park in the street even though theres literally a giant parking lot which ever since then has now been sitting empty. And the most ironic thing about this is a devoted all this time and attention to a parking situation that nobody was even complaining about when his roof was leaking so badly there was about an 8 inch sag in his bathroom ceiling. And that was enough for him so he moved out and this is honestly the craziest thing of it all. They rented him this unit with basically no carpet in at all just bare cement other than a little bit of carpet on the stairs and the landing which I know my first hand account that that exact same carpet has been there for eight years. Mind you. Which I will update this review with pictures of the carpet later as I need to get them for my friend but once you see this carpet first youre going to be disgusted but then youre even going to be angry because they literally told him he was forced to pay one of the carpet cleaning companies that they choose to clean the carpet which first wall is a total scam as Im sure theyre getting a kick back second of all this tenant had only been in the unit for six months and he didnt even have carpet really other than seven year old carpet that couldve been cleaned with pier bleach, even. Bottom line is if they can catch you doing something wrong and get you some kind of trouble or get any money out of you they will literally be in constant contact with you always answer your calls etc. etc. but then if you have any type of issue, even the smallest, they literally do nothing about it whatsoever. So expect to get harassed, robbed, overcharged all in return for a low quality apt and no service. Here is a pic of one of their available units.

Lived in Faraday for several years before GDR took it over. Typical slumlord management company. Constantly raising rent while not improving anything. There were cracks in the ceiling, cabinets, counters, and had a mouse at one point. Door to access stairwell was broken for over a year and addicts/vagrants were hanging out/sleeping there. Also wouldnt refund my damage deposit in full and ignored me when inquiring about it. Side note- if youre a contractor, locksmith, etc, I wouldnt do any business with GDR. Multiple people have told me they did work for them and were never compensated.

Had someone find me a property through this property management. She said the place had been on the market for 2 months without any applications. Went and viewed the property on Friday 9/02/22 and was already interested in renting. Got in touch with the realtor and she said someone else put in an application and 1st received would be viewed 1st. Long story short, 1st application was picked and was never given a chance. Then, said realtor emailed me saying not to give up because 1st applicant wasn't sure if they wanted it. Next day received email saying they wanted it. Too bad for the property management company. They lost out on a great tenant, who is also a combat veteran.
