Place is only for an overnight stay on your way through. Roads haven't been resurfaced in decades. Most signs are just plywood and hand painted. Restroom not cleaned in 3 days. Urine soaked floor. One toilet doesn't flush. Only 1 of 4 lights work. No lights in shower. Bathroom musty and lacks ventilation. Maintenance is severely lacking. Owned by city, you'd expect better maintenance. Only person I saw working was camp host. He is friendly but most of the time he's racing around on his hot rod. Rooms: Almost every site comes with a concrete Ramada and fire ring. Nearby activities: If you are into smoking, drinking and gambling there is a casino next door. Petroglyphs national monument is 30 minute drive. Safety: No gate or security guard. Felt unsafe. Walkability: Next door is Coronado State Monument. It is worth a visit. Food & drinks: Not sold here. Noteworthy details: Water is not convenient. You'll need 30 to 40ft of water hose.

The worst customer service from the staff. They were very rude when we here. Only one shower available per bathroom. The bathrooms are dirty. There is no water hook up. The internet is very slow. Overall save your money and go somewhere else. You will not enjoy staying here. Guaranteed.

The mgt could obtain someone to scour bathrooms to be more accommodating. The bathroom is heated nicely. This campground is quiet, close to shopping, is close to Alberqurque, spacious sites and nice view of Sandia Mtn. Surprisely much more pricey than NM State Parks.

Fantastic campground. I have a huge rig and they have great pull through a to accommodate. Water and electric in every site. Many have 50amp. This place is well maintained and clean. Management really cares. Each site has a nice little covered patio area and fire pit with a grill. Rates are more affordable than all other campgrounds in the area. Only down side is no sewer but they have a free dump station close by so not much of a hassle. Very private and safe. Close to Walmart and Home Depot.
