The black beetles kind of threw us for a loop, not being locals & use to the native critters. We found one in the room but as they were everywhere outside & the room doors went to the outside that wasn't surprising.
But, bugs aside, staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were basic but clean.
The neighbors were playing loud music but the rooms were well insulated and we weren't disturbed by it once the doors were closed.
It was inexpensive and fine for the one night road stay we needed.

This motel is in rough shape. During my stay the half of the parking lot was roped off, including the walkway to the lobby. The pool is permanently closed and filled with concrete. Breakfast is no longer served. The toilet handle was sticky and needed to be jiggled to stop flushing. We found a dead roach in the room. There was no chair in the room. There were wet towels from the previous occupants in the shower curtain. The hotel itself is situated in a rough neighborhood, but is fenced off so it doesnt feel too unsafe.
On the plus side the room had been recently refreshed with new furniture and linens. The price is competitive for the area.
My biggest complaint is how much of the listing is a lie.
