Buying a house in Albuquerque when you live in Texas can be a bit of a nightmare unless you are prepared to travel 6hrs and find a realtor who is as determined as you are to find the right home. This was the company we used to buy our property. When you call, ask for Heather Hedges. She was our realtor and she is a godsend. She will do any price range that your budget needs to fit in (and she won't be judgemental of your station in life), and when it comes time to start haggling she will fight for you fearlessly. She is funny, kind, ethical, and sassy, and definitely knows her stuff. She is licensed statewide, even though they are based in Moriarty, when you give her parameters such as (using ours for example) "fixer-upper, rural, 1+ acre, near small-medium town, up to 1 hour from Albuquerque" she will hunt and find just what you need. She is a miracle worker, and has become a close friend to our family.
