Canyon Crossroads Animal Hospital

Today I received a letter from Canyon Cross Roads filled with nothing but lies. The manager Josh is unprofessional and very manipulative. You can see how he responds to every negative review in a very defensive manner which leads me to conclude he is neither deserving nor skilled enough to be titled manager. His momma should spank him and put him back in the crib. Everything I stated in my review was factual. Charging $40 for bandages after a major surgery without notice is ridiculous. Me and my new vet had a good laugh about it. We all agreed that was shady. We don't mind going elsewhere since we can afford to. For someone else not as fortunate who was leaving a truthful review I feel bad for. Predatory practice when you are in a remote area and very threatening violent demeanor about this individual Josh. I hope he gets the help and healing he needs. Shasta, Biggs, Wolfie, Carrot, Orange and moms bunny Bella will much better off without all the negativity and unprofessionalism. As it stated in the letter I received today, "polite, effective, comfortable and open avenues of communication" are of the utmost importance. Guess its a one way street. I will do what I can to brig awareness about this terrible business! The truth will set us free :)

We trusted this place for years, and blindly so, with many of our beloved companions. Once we actually started asking real question we found out exactly how manipulative this establishment is. We paid the last ridiculous bill, gave them a piece of our mind and told them we would never trust them caring for another living creature again. 2 weeks later they send us a letter saying that they are kicking us out for bad behavior . Let's get this straight we left your business because you are gas lighting manipulators.

Amazing staff and no waiting around or need to do an emergency drop. You get to stay with your pet. And the best part is you get to speak with the doctor about your pets health not just a technician or email updating you on the status of your pet. We highly recommend canyon crossroads.

I do like this clinic. The staff for the most part is friendly and helpful. The one issue I take is that THEY WILL NICKLE AND DIME YOU FOR EVERY SINGLE THING. We recently took our dog in for teeth cleaning and cyst removal. They did excellent work and she is healing fine. They asked us to make an appointment to remove her drain. Two times weve taken her and the drain was unable to be removed bc it was still bleeding. They charge $41 to change the bandages even though that wasnt discussed as a possibility and I just think its cheap. We paid over $1200 total for the surgery and having to pay $40 each time just for the service of the bandage change is a little scammy especially when we didnt know that the drain wouldnt be coming out and its a complete guessing game. Happy to pay for regular appointments as like I said I do like this clinic but if I may just note that a full exam is $65~ so not sure why bandage change is even charged furthermore at 3/4 of a full exam with a veterinarian. Thank you for coming to my Ted Talk :) Update: The manager of the clinic just called and said basically not to come back because of my review. Its sad that small businesses claim they are there to help and want you to be confident in them but act like children when they disagree. Very unprofessional and am happy to go elsewhere. Will be spreading the word we they lost 5 animals as clients and didnt seem to care so now when recommending a local vet I will net be spending time uttering their name.
