David,Glad to hear you enjoyed our Fall Festival and Mourning at the Manor. It is a yearly event so join us again next year. Also we have other interesting programs and events coming up soon. Our Christmas Holiday House Touris "Once Upon a Christmas" is Dec 2 & 3rd.

Galyna,Sorry you missed the tour. The Sagtikos Manor is over 300 years old. The original part of the Manor was built in 1697, added on in 1772 and again in 1902, The house consists of 42 rooms and on the docent led tour you will see the entire house. All the furniture, artwork, clothing and other objects in the house were all family owned. President George Washington stayed the night here in 1790 as documented in his diary. We are open June - end of September so this Saturday is the last day to take a house tour. We will be having our Fall Festival on Oct 8 which includes :Mourning at the Manor". Our visitors will step back in time and experience the steps/customs of a Victorian Mourning inside the Manor, with a procession to the family cemetery for a funeral ceremony. Then you can meet some of the Thompson family spirits in the cemetery.Please cone back and visit us.
