Based on CONSIDERABLE first hand observation of over 20+ renovations in New York City (which has all kinds of unique challenges with supers, building rules, etc.) -- I can confidently Prowood + CMNYC are among the finest quality workmanship AND professionalism (coupled with cleanliness).  They recently (Feb 2021) built my new kitchen and previously built media units, and large customized closets.   Their precision, attention to detail and expert workmanship coupled with their customer-centric approach is rare (especially in NYC).   Even when they are physically not in your apartment, you can discern their approach of how they organize all their tools logically and neatly as well mop or sweep the floor every day before they depart.  Even my neighbors commented on how carefully their prepare the hallways and the space for the project.  Clearly, I would highly recommend Tamas and his whole team (Gabor, Jon etc.).  FYI - I have lived and worked in Manhattan for 30 years.  And I have renovated 2 kitchens and 3 bathrooms at both  apartments that I have owned.  I have compared this work to the 15+ renovation projects that I have seen completed or left stranded for friends and relatives by various contractors.

I represent Roberts Plywood Co in Brooklyn and Queens. We are a supplier of plywood, lumber and veneers for Prowood, LLC. and have been working together for 10 years at the very least. This has been a very rewarding experience on many different levels. Tamas is a very intelligent, detailed oriented customer. He is using materials that are most suitable for each individual project. A lot of times we have to produce custom panels, or order specific lumber or veneers, that are not part of our vast inventory, to satisfy the demand of a specific project. Tamas always communicated clearly, and in timely fashion. It does not hurt that payments are always made on time or beforehand. All in all, I do not hesitate to highly recommend Tamas and Prowood as one of our most valuable and appreciated customers.
