Dr. Alexander Shapsis, MD

Dr. Shapsis was the only doctor, of the many specialists I had seen, who was able to discover the true cause of all my gastrointestinal issues. He performed all the same test as the other doctors, but his knowledge and expertise led him to order more specialized testing that led him to core of my issues. He was able to connect the dots while other physicians stuck to standardized testing. I have suffered for over twenty years and now my health is at the very best it can be. I am taking the medications he prescribed, making the nutritional changes he advised, and by taking advantage of the IV therapy his office offers, I cant thank him enough for helping lead a normal life. Although my condition is lifelong, with his expertise, combined with the medication and IV therapy, this has made me whole again. The Court street office staff are amazing and supportive. Dr. Shapsis has been selected for multiple awards for the service he provides. I urge anyone who has been through the same cycle Ive been through to visit him. I am now able to teach my special education students now that my issues are under control. Thank you so much Dr. Shapsis!

Dr. Shapsis is absolutely amazing. He is so personable and is a pleasure to be around. He is amazing at what he does and explains everything so clearly. He makes you feel so welcome and comfortable. I highly highly recommend!

He is very knowledgeable about everything not only his speciality. I can tell him whats bothering me beside my stomach and he will talk to me and refer me to a doctor

Every office starts and ends with the front desk. The ladies were professional, attentive and courteous. Technicians and nurses are pleasure to work with and the doctor feels like a real pro. I only been there twice, but both Doctor Shapsis and the staff showed me attention and understanding, and I hope I finally will be on the path to getting well. Fingers crossed.
