It was my first visit, I was a bit nervous. The administration is friendly and kind. The doctor was very pleasant, insightful, with a sense of humor, very human. We even spoke about how moringa a natural herb can prevent cancer from spreading.

I have not had the opportunity to meet with the Dr. So this is thoroughly based on his Answering service. I called and the person answered Hello, I then had to ask if this was the Drs office. Then I asked whom I was speaking to because it was so informal I was wondering if I dialed the wrong number. Then the woman said this is the answering service. I asked her name and that seemed to irk her. But answering Hello and not even saying Dr. Samuel office leaves questions. She then asked my name and if I have insurance. After taking my name and number then said call back at 10 ( then what was the purpose of taking my info) then she said they have a lot of patients today and coming up as if to deter me from calling back. Well she definitely succeeded in that regard. I wanted to go to a place where I would be heard and seen as a patient it not only happens inside with the Doctors but sometimes outside with the administrative staff. The referral came from a wonderful place and I cam sad that it didnt work out.

Dr. Shelby is one of the best doctors I've have ever had. Thorough, efficient and a great bedside manner. I work in a Gastroenterology office, so I know how hectic it gets sometime. The staff is phenomenal and work well as a team. I highly recommend Dr. Shelby, he's the best!

What a such bad moment my mother and I had experience coming in for the first time to see Dr. Shelby. today sep 8,2022 The worker was so unprofessional with a nasty attitude which is very clear that she has no manners and dont know how to treat people with respect, I really dont understand how can this lady can be working at a doctors office ,where they have to deal with patients. This lady who was very unprofessional with a nasty attitude all she wanted was my mother to sign a bunch of papers without giving any type of explanation of what are those papers for when it comes to billing, when I ask her what are these papers for she came out with nasty attitude speaking to me like if I know how does a doctors office runs, she get mad just when it comes to questions there was no need to almost scream and talk really loud just for some answers and wanted my mother to sign the document without giving any explanation and she was immediately asking for the insurance card to charge the insurance for the visit right away, at that point this situation was very uncomfortable where are you asking some questions and youre not getting answers and all she care is for the money she dont care how you feel, if you are OKay or if you understand any type of documents its clear that she was very unprofessional, at this point my mother no longer wanted to be seen by the doctor she was feeling uncomfortable and wanted to leave the office right away moments later the doctor arrived and spoke with my mother he was very kind completely different so what we have experience with employee in this office. dr. Shelby saw how this lady passed by and scream she doesnt want to give her insurance card being really noisy like if anyone were asking her any sort of explanation the conversation was between my mother the doctor and I, in this moment the doctor saw that unpleasant attitude this lady had ,I hope he does something positive about it . because its clear that if new patient come in the office and they want to ask question in order to understand any situation its most likely that theyre going to receive the same unpleasant treat , as long as this doctor keeps having this unprofessional lady working for him. and now my mother has to looked out for another gastroenterologist and wait more time to be seen by a doctor just because of this unprofessional lady with a rude attitude.

Good Doctor. I met him 2015 for colon exam and some years later again for Gi exam. Also, he has a very pleasant spirit and his place is always cleaned and pleasant.
