Kurd Contracting did a wonderful job in loft art studio. The staircase is super well done and beautiful, they custom ordered new window frames and installed them for me, and the overall service was great! They were always on time and time-efficient, and even followed up with me multiple times. Thank you Kurd Contracting team!!

STAY AWAY!!!!! This guy is the worse business man out there. We hired Khalil and his team to work on our whole house. We were on an extreme time crunch and he assured us things would get done right away. He agrees to everything but has excuses left and right. Multiple times he just doesn't show up and says he has "Family Emergencies" yet on his social media he's posting new projects. His work is POOR and I would stay as far away as possible. He did not cover any of the floors while painting. I caught him so many times where his workers told him to cover the floor and he whispers to them "Its ok leave it". All of the work he did was so sloppy and poor. There is grout residue all over the tiles that he never cleaned. We had him put all brand new floors in all the bathroom where he never covered them and continued renovating on to of them staining and scratching them (see pictures). He cut the marble in the bathrooms and left unfinished sides everywhere. His worker forgot to turn off the water line when renovating the showers and vanity causing massive water damage to the kitchen below. He promised to fix it but stopped showing up. I have contacted him several times and he keeps ignoring me. My ceiling was leaking for two weeks and he told me to wait because he was away in Canada yet again posted new projects on his social media. I kept begging him to come as my daughter has asthma and I was afraid mold would be caused due to the leak, again he just ignored my calls and never showed up. Due to my kids health I hired a new contractor to fix his mistakes which i paid out of pocket. He told me have your new contractor fix all the issues and i will pay you the amount. Once my contractor finished it, khalil stopped responding. He left all the old tiles in my backyard, (see pictures) had me pay for a garbage disposal crate in which i caught him dumping his own garbage from other projects he was working on. I already filed a lawsuit against him. the previous review was 100% accurate where the woman posted pictures. He did the same thing to me. STAY AWAY from his company he's an amateur and a very very poor business man.I am warning everyone to save themselves the headache in dealing with this guy.

I do not recommend this contractor for bathroom renovations, painting or drywall installation. I had my bathroom gut renovated in 2020 by a different contractor and it was beautiful. I never heard noises from my upstairs neighbor, and I never had any issues with it. Unfortunately, my upstairs neighbors toilet leaked into my ceiling and the whole ceiling had to be removed by a water mitigation team and dried. I hired Kal at KURD contracting (because he had good Google Reviews) to repair the ceiling and repaint the walls. His quote also included replacing the insulation in the ceiling. Kal dropped off a worker who did not take any preventive measures to protect the flooring in my apartment, nor did he properly protect my shower tiles, the marble floor in my bathroom, or the sink or light fixtures in my bathroom. My shower has gray grout and Kals employee decided to pull white caulk down the ceiling corners into my shower tile, which was not part of this job. They left my wood apartment floors damaged, caused damage to the marble floors in my bathroom, left paint on all the fixtures, and did a ceiling repair that looks terrible. His worker said he was done for the day and I made Kal come back to fix this shoddy work the next day, to which he agreed that it looked terrible. The photos attached are the finished product, and it still looks terrible even after Kal tried to fix it. I then asked Kal why the white substance on my wood floors wouldnt come off and he gaslighted me, saying that it was on my floors before and it wasnt a result of his worker taking no precautions. I can now hear my upstairs neighbor flushing his toilet and showering, which I could never hear before, and I am quite sure that Kals worker did not adequately replace the removed insulation in my ceiling. When I asked him for a photo to prove that the insulation had been installed he said he didn't have one. I wish I had never hired this company and my bathroom is worse off than it was after the ceiling leak. Services: General construction, Paint indoors, Drywall installation
