I've been going to Marvin for all of my self tapes for 3 years now (has it BEEN that long?!). They always look and sound amazing. Plus, he edits them the same day and uploads them to my AA for me. And the prices are the most reasonable you'll find in the 5 boroughs. Don't go anywhere else.

I recently started doing my self tapes with Marvin at STP. He is a great reading partner. The space is welcoming and technically perfect for the use. Parking is easy, if you're a driver. Highly recommend.

Marvin is one of the most serendipitous encounters I have had in my career. I went to Marvin because I was traveling at the time and just needed any decent setup to help me record a self-tape. Instead, what I got was a ridiculously creative, professional, and empathetic self-tape coach who not only had an incredibly high-quality setup, but whose direction and guidance has single-handedly led to one of the most productive summers of my career. I am a professionally trained actor who has booked commercials & well-budgeted film roles on my own, and who has taken audition classes at premier studios in NYC and California. I can say without a doubt that by working with Marvin, every single one of my tapes is one leg up from everything Ive submitted in the past. His widely varied experience as an actor himself, of working with so many different kinds of other actors, and his ability to break down a script and bring it to all sorts of levels outside the box, is priceless. The majority of our work is actually also done remotely. He's created a ruthlessly effective system to do this virtually. And in fact, is probably the first (if not, only, at the time of this writing) one on the market who has been able to figure this out so well. Its a privilege and absolute joy to work with him.

Ive worked with Marvin on a number of different tapes from drama to comedy over the last handful of months and have had a great experience every time. Hes kind, professional, and knows when to give space and also when to offer notes and support to get the best take out of every session. Im looking forward to taping with him more in the future.
