Horrible, inept, pushy, and money grubbing dentistry. Only interested in making money and not a patient's health. Here is what happened May 31st 2023 at 220pm. Over the weekend I chipped a molar, so I arranged an appointment for repair. Uon being seated in the chair I explained to the tech that I had a chipped tooth to be filled with amalgam. She insisted you'll need an X Ray first. Upon complaining she then went to get what they call a doctor. He insisted he would not even look in my mouth without an X Ray. What was I to do so I got the X Ray for 40 dollars even though I knew it was totally unnecessary. Upon review of the X Ray he informed me that I would need a root canal, post, and crown for $3000.00. I said whatttttttttttttt cant you just fill the chip. He absolutely refused and would not even look in my mouth. I called him a hack and left paying for the rip off X Ray. Today June 1st 2023 I went to a real dentist. No X Ray, he simply opened my mouth, took a look and said the tooth looks good and some amalgam will fix it up. Charge $95.00. And I have a happy tooth!!! This is not the first time this has happened. Having been there before for other work I recommended my wife to go there on May 27th 2023 for a cleaning of a tooth that was bothering her. She was treated to exactly the same treatment only no X Ray. She informed her that I she would need a root canal, post, and crown for $3000.00. This not dentistry and should be put out of business. Deserves a black hole, no star!!!

Never Judge a Book by its cover, I pulled up to the Commack location and saw how small this place was until I went inside. Professional/Polite Personnel All Around a Pleasant and Happy Experience from Start to Finish.

Full of gratitude for Dr. Goldfarb who was the first dentist I saw in ten years after fear kept me from coming back to any dentist. He was patient and kind and gentle with me but still focused on providing great dental care. My first visit was an exam and a cleaning - Laurie the hygienist was also so kind; understanding my nerves and providing general conversation to distract me a little bit while she did the cleaning. I came back a week later to replace 2 older fillings and, once again, Dr. Goldfarb took great care of me. He explained each part of the procedure as we went along and also often checked in to ask how I was doing which I really appreciated. Im thrilled with this practice and relieved to not be so afraid anymore.

The world worst dentist!! They won't fix your teeth and make problems bigger and worse. They steal money from you! DON'T GO!
