At this time, I am a current client of this law firm. I hired Ron in the darkest time of my life. My soon to be ex husband was upset because I filed for divorce. Furthermore, my estranged husband has attempted to destroy my professional license and reputation. Within a couple of months, Ron and his team were able to rectify that. I don't even know where to begin. First my consult was with Ron not Amanda and he sold me on his approach and aggressive tactics. He showed up for the first half of 1 court date and I was than passed off to his associate Amanda. When I first saw Amanda I said to myself I hope this isn't my attorney( I literally said that to myself). She looked disheveled and had an huge orange stain on her hey grey sweater. Attorneys are generally always well dressed and put together nicely. During that first court case the judge falsely accused me of being a drug addict while Amanda just stood there mute. The judge falsely attacked my character while my attorney said absolutely nothing in my defense. We were in court until 7:30 that day and rather then talk to me about what was determined in court that day she allowed me to be sandbaged in the courtroom that day by the decision made behind closed doors. When I expressed how I felt about her representation she got heated and took off to have a cigarette. Which explained why she didn't want to take the extra time to talk to me about what was going to happen in court. On the next court date we discussed having a hair follicle test done on the other party to determine levels in her system, Amanda told me that this test which cost me $591 would be able to determine these levels. Since I paid for that test the courts had been closed down due to the pandemic and when they finally started doing teleconferences Amanda had not a clue what was going on with my case. I asked about specifics and she had no idea what was going on, had I not mentioned that we're supposed to be getting the results of the follicle test she wouldn't have even mentioned it. Low and behold that test I paid almost $600 for, at Amanda recommendation didn't prove a thing. It was the wrong test for what I needed to find out. Amanda response was "that's what the courts told me". That was it! Ron was notified after many complaints to Liz that I didn't want Amanda handling my case any more. She wasn't who I hired in the first place. It was typical bait and switch. So Ron started handing my case himself. Ron talks the talk. After taking on my case as hired to do things started to go the same as before. He had completely forgot about a subpoena for video footage file 5 months earlier, doesn't return phone calls or texts, and after a the first teleconferences he was on personally he failed to call me about the outcome. The only headway made with my case was made by my mother contacting the DA and getting an erroneous charge dismissed and again by my mother contacting an ex parte attorney to set up a meeting with their clients. After getting my criminal charges dismissed myself, passing a random drug test, completing a non mandating course, $3500 up front and $3000 in additional charges my case remains at a stalemate. Not 1 single thing has changed since the first court case. There's not one person I talk to about this that thinks this is OK. From family members to coworkers they all have the same sentiment. I've paid way less for attorneys before and have had legal aide before and both put this office to shame. Specifically my legal aide on a similar case. She was a pit bull, fought for me like no other and got all my charges dismissed. I've never paid anywhere near this much for legal representation and I've never had such a bad experience either.
