Freeport Transmissions

Once they were in Freeport I had supposedly a transmission installed within months my car stalled at that time they had moved to Island Park. Compton is the new owner of the Island Park transmission call called Freeport transmission still. Just to sum things up my transmission has been leaking for a year and a 1/2 I took the car back about 4 times within that year and I am trying still mind you to have the issue fixed. Recommend no one uses Freeport transmission they are fraudulent and they do not it's not do what they are claiming they have done. THESE GUYS ARE THIEVES. Compton and Jake lie to sell anything they can. Jake sounds sincere but it's all lies. They use your car for personal stuff and keep delaying giving back your car. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR THERE, TRUST ME ON THIS. All the good reviews are from friends and family. Example - Penny Ramdass gave them 5 start - she is Jake's Wife. Even Compton give his business a 5 star review. Everyone of us that got scammed by these guys should team up and take them to court. THEY SHOULD BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE AND NOT BE ABLE TO CONTINUE SCAMMING PEOPLE. Service: Engine repair

Please do not waste your money here. The staff is dishonest to say the least and they do not make your transmission any better. In my case, I went over a month ago but I had to drop off my car for a few days, and there was literally no difference. After another time, they "repaired" the transmission but it was even worse, I could hardly drive at all. They find temporary solutions. The warranty is a scam and a lie, please do not listen to them. If you are going to repair your transmission, please do not come to this place, this is the worst place to repair a transmission. Also, do not look for the low prices, just go to an official car manufacturer dealership and have it checked and fixed there. Service: Transmission

Nice employees, except 1 guy was kind of not caring, but after 3 weeks my transmission is fixed, but still dripping took it back once already just slowed the drip down, but still dripping..

Do not come to this shop for your transmission needs. Sorry guys I've been more than patient with this company and the issue was NOT fixed after 800 dollars of work. First I told them what was going on I have my own parts let's put them in and see what we get. After being 3 days late I go to pick up the truck and check engine light was on immediately. These guys ripped out the crank shaft sensor while pulling thentranny and never fixed it. After the BS and the transmission has the same issue I brought in in for. These guys are supposed to he the professionals and put my transmission back in the truck with a bad input shaft. Absolutely unbelievable and horrific experience and I'm now concerned the truck will not last. Compton you need to get it together or get out of the business absolutley ridiculous
