Management responds 3 days after u really need help like heat. Never acts in best interests of unit owners...too many renters including rent control...only amenity is pool June-August. Never apply rules to residents who create safety issues like leaving building doors open , screaming at their kids and dogs barking incessantly, no security cams.will not learn till can't get ANY buyers or any good residents. Some thing never change.

i live there from 2008 to March 2016 on the first floor in 1D.  The reason i moved because the noise coming from the 2nd floor.  The floor are paper thin and you hear people upstair walking at all time if they do not put in rug.  Area rug  are useless.  The noise from upstair was driving me crazy.  Do not buy any coop in this development because all the apartment are the same.  When i sold in 2016, it was a happiest date of my life.  From one review, and i agree it is the projects of Great Neck.  The person who bought it from me sold it in Dec 2020.  So i guess he couldn't take the noise either.   I sold it for 279K  in march 2016 and the owner who bought it from me sold if for 345k.  I still couldn't believe some idiot bought it for 345K.

Now, the board amended by-laws without consulting unit owners and are trying to charge us for contracts that they and the management company lost years ago.  They mischarged us for months without correcting their own mistakes. They do not appreciate the quiet, paying unit owners who make this complex look good in more ways than one.    We need politicians to step up and force the co-op board and management company to do their jobs and start working for all of us (not just their little lackeys) since they take our monthly maintenance and spend it to our detriment.  New laws and/or enforcement is necessary.  Any news organizations care to do an expose????

The projects of Great Neck. The Management is incompetent , the Board members are mental ill, the buildings  are falling apart as well as filthy .  Over priced junk...stay away at all cost.
