Dropped my car off for an airbag recall, with an appointment. Was told they did not have the part and had to order it and keep the car overnight - no problem. Get a call the next day asking if I know that my hood wont open. Then was told I will need a $189 diagnostic check LOL!!! Want to know why the hood wont open? The plastic latch inside the car that releases the hood, is cracked. It fell right off in my hand. I replaced it for $35. They were sure counting on me being some dumb blonde who doesnt know what a diagnostic check is. NEVER, EVER, AGAIN. I hope you are all exposed for the scum you are one day because this wasnt the first awful experience, but one of the worst and most insulting, and also the last. SEE MORE LIES BELOW: I have NEVER had any hood issues or repairs on this vehicle, nor did I state so. Since youre so keen on responding to all these terrible reviews, why dont you explain exactly how you run a diagnostic check on a hood? Its a piece of metal. Did the hood release not fall off in the technicians hand, the way it did in mine? Why was that not mentioned? Youre a joke and you thought you could scam me like an idiot. Goodbye

I came for the regular 20000 mile service and I had the engine light on. The first thing that caught my attention was the unsatisfied customer who was arguing with the service representative. I scheduled service on Saturday and came at 09 am. I told them that I would do a NYS inspection as well. My car was under warranty and the Service was included in it. After two hours they called me and told me that they were done. Only then they informed me that I could not pass the inspection because of the engine light. I told them that we all knew about that and inquired why they didn't fix it. They told me that they do not do that service on Saturday, instead just regular service. Nowhere on the website was something like that mentioned something. Besides that, they washed my car very poorly. At the end, I asked for the paper with the service explanation and they told me they couldn't provide it and that it would be sent via email. I didn't receive anything. I don't think that I will be going here again.

I am beside myself and can't believe what is still happening with my brand new atlas. Brought in for first oil change. Got home and it was leaking gas -from the fuel tank. Service told me to bring it back. No one has responded to my calls-The receptionist gives fake names and the service manager Danny is horribly obnoxious. My car is still there and they will not respond to me, I left messages for the dealership where I leased the car. Nothing. No car-No answer -Simply Shocked ! DO NOT LEAVE YOUR CAR HERE I should have. read these reviews first -I had such a good experience in bayside where I leased the car, I assumed it would be extended to the service dept. I am going to try and figure out who owns this dealership and also contact WE CARE Volkswagen
