Lake Success Village Court

They have a racket set up and it felt to me that it's perfectly orchestrated from the cop on up. Do not expect justice but expect to be coerced into coughing up their steep fines so they can fund their multi million dollar recreational complex. The taxpayers won't complain. Attorney General should look into this "operation".

I havent been able to even get down there yet, for tickets I got in 2019, because they work maybe 2 days a week. They have no way to pay online, even in 2021. Cant ever get someone on the phone. This place is a joke. Just looked at the violation fees, and its absolutely absurd. Its not a court system. Its an extortion racket. They know people cant get there, with their extremely inconvenient hours, so they just take you for as much money as they can.

This place is incredible. They are open 2 days a week you have to play guessing games on when you can pay a ticket and if you cant get there on day they are open (which is one day ) for court then you pay a cash bail and get a new court date. I dont know if the people sho live in that town know any of this .But I bet they would be too happy to know that their tax dollars ate being used in such a way .and I'm sure they all get paid a nice penny down to the secretary. The police do (I happen to know one ) time to have some higher ups look into their practices its legalized mafia
