image We were among the first tenants of the Galleria and had a wonderful experience. The organization from its owners down to the lowest levels of staff at the building were extremely helpful. All of our requests were handled expeditiously and to our satisfaction. The building itself is first rate and the residents are treated in a first rate manner as well. I heartily recommend the building as a great place to call home.

image It's always nice to hear great experiences from our Tenants, and Mayor Ron Cooper and Ms. Marcia have always been a pleasure to speak to and interact with, at any time!
It's our duty to make sure that any of our Tenants experiences and stay at the Galleria and at any of our other Buildings is always enjoyable, and we constantly try to improve on anything we can do.
Thank you Mayor Cooper!

In reply to our former tenant Mrs. Aprilakis, although we definitively appreciate the positive comments about how well the Galleria at Great Neck is maintained and that our doormen and staff are friendly and cooperative, we are surprised by the rest of the her comments.
First and foremost it was both Mr. and Mrs. Aprilakis choice to pick that particular unit on the 2nd floor because they loved the layout and spacious closets, and at that time they were expecting their first child.
We told them we had the same unit on the 4th floor with a better and more open light exposure, but it was ultimately their decision to move to the 2nd floor Apartment as it was less expensive since they were trying to keep a certain budget, which we assisted them with it as well.
As far as the damage on the refrigerator that Mrs. Aprilakis complained about, all the appliances were brand new as the Building was just completed when the Tenant moved in, and at the time of their move out both the front of the steel doors had many scratches and dents all over them in different areas. All this was well documented with pictures and communicated via emails and text messages to the Tenant, and could have not been caused by simply hitting the walls and cabinets as they claim in their review.
We tried our best to find a less expensive solution for the Tenant and had our suppliers search only for the doors to replace them to keep the cost of the replacement for the damage down, as it was obvious that someone kept on hitting the front of the doors with different things causing all those dents and scratches, also all this documented via emails and text to the Tenant.
When we found out that the parts and labor for the replacement doors were close to the cost of a brand new refrigerator, the Tenant herself communicated via email that they would order the new one and take back the refrigerator they had damaged to the house they were moving to.
We always extend our personal service to our Tenants, and even give them our Management direct cellular numbers in case of any emergency.
Almost all of the Tenants that moved in since our opening have renewed their Leases and are still in the Building, and amongst them many Corporate Tenants as well.

image The property itself is well maintained and the staff is friendly. It has a great location walking distance to the train.
Other than that, it is just ok. The walls are extremely thin and you hear and smell anything the neighbors are doing.
I was in apartment 2H, and I had a view of the garage throughout all my windows. It was very depressing as no sunlight ever came through and people coming in to the garage could look inside. They will tell you its a quiet garage, but it is not- alarms would go off, people would drag race inside the garage, you could hear people speaking. It was very unpleasant. Finally, what left a really poor taste in my mouth was that there was a refrigerator in the apartment that was too big for the small kitchen. The fridge got damaged because it kept hitting the walls and the cabinet. Even though I mentioned this to the landlord and the super the first week I moved in, I was told not to worry. When we moved out, the landlord refused to give me my security deposit back unless I paid for a new fridge in FULL. They did not even offer to pay any portion of the new fridge, even though they recognized that the damage was done by the cabinets. A gesture of paying for 50% of the new fridge would have been the right thing to do, but they did not - even after I asked them. Let me also mention that the fridge was in perfect working condition, just the outside was dented. But I still had to buy a completely new fridge after a year of living there. I would not recommend this apartment building to family or friends. Beware!!
