Alte View Physical Therapy, Acupuncture, and Nutrition, PLLC

I've been treated by Caesar Cantone at at Alte View for about 2 years. After decades of back problems I'd been through many, MANY types of treatments with service providers of every philosophy, and never had care as thorough and effective. This is the opposite of the usual factory approach to physical therapy, where there's a big staff and almost literally an assembly line of handlers. You are met, evaluated, and treated by Caesar, who has expertise across several platforms and a holistic approach that melds western and Chinese approaches. I've had several different treatments, depending on how my back is acting up on any given week, including traditional PT, Pilates, traction, a wide range of acupuncture techniques, even cupping. Caesar is an expert at ergonomics and also looked at how my desk is set up and got me orthotics that (for the first time) fit perfectly. But his care goes beyond simple ergonomics: When my energy was flagging, he suggested Chinese herbs, which were game changing (and which he will soon offer himself). Here's the biggest endorsement I could offer: Alte View's treatment is so much radically better than any PT I've ever had, that I followed them when they moved office from Manhattan to Great Neck. To be willing to spend a full day a week on trains back and forth, you know it's worth it!

Ive had many positive experiences working with Caesar to address my neck and knee among other injuries. Treatments are personalized and each session he devotes his time to ensure the best possible outcome. Its such a unique experience to have so many different treatment options (PT, acupuncture, nutrition, etc.) under one roof. Incredibly professional, knowledgeable and thorough. This is an office like no other! I cant recommend this office highly enough!

I came to see Caesar for my back problem because I was getting pain in my lower back for a while after sitting the whole day at the computer. He looked at my work setup and focused a lot on my posture, even recommended a special cushion to keep my spine straight. Then we did some acupuncture and cupping, which helped reduce stress and tension in my muscles. Caesar is definitely my go to man for any back problems that my computer job gives me. Very professional and really knows anatomy.

This review is long overdue. I injured my achilles tendon 18 months ago and after an extensive search found Caesar through a personal recommendation. Caesar was amazing. Unlike many PT services where you find yourself being shuffled between a multitude of therapists, Caesar gave me 100% one-on-one 45-minute to an hour of dedicated care. He is without doubt one of the most knowledgeable PTs I have encountered and was always available if I needed his immediate advice between sessions. I saw Caesar during the first half of my recovery but unfortunately he moved his practice out of the city. Nevertheless, I still use many of the techniques that Caesar taught me and am so grateful for his intelligently guided help over some 9 months of PT. He is one of the best!
