    A word of warning. I've done 5 jobs for Broadway over the last few years, without any significant issues. They did want a bunch of verbage added to my certificate of insurance, which I did. My last job for them was last year. They just sent me a new work order, and on that work order is a new requirement that all invoices MUST be submitted on their new system Umbrava. If you just email them in (like I've done for years) they "will not be processed for payment". Well, I looked into Umbrava, and their privacy policy. It appears to me that using Umbrava allows them access to all kinds of personal information, and everything on your computer, which it shares (and undoubtedly sells) with third parties. I'm not doing that. I'm not wanted by the FBI or anything. But I've been a reliable company for 24 years, and I'm not going to use some "we collect all your info" system, just to submit an invoice. I'm no expert on these things. But all that data collection seems a little unnecessary. I emailed Broadway to see if they would still accept an emailed invoice. The answer was "You are already and active vendor and it shows you have been trained in Umbrava, If you are already trained we cant accept emailed invoices they must be uploaded to Umbrava." Well, I've never been "trained" in Umbrava, and I'm certainly not giving some maintenance company access to my computer, browser history, personal information, etc. . So it looks like we've both drawn a line in the sand, and I won't be working for them any more.

    Anything over 1 star is an employee. The worst company we have dealt with in 20 years. They do not pay their venders, constantly talk down to you. If you are a business looking to hire them to manage your property, RUN! Venders, do not work for them.
