Caraotas Nyc - Arepas, Burgers & Milkshakes

The ordering experience is atrocious. I ordered online and it gave me an estimated pickup time of 7:11-7:21. I got there at 7:21 and didn't see my order on the counter yet. I checked with the workers at 7:31 and they didn't even see the printed receipt...meaning my order wasn't even seen, so definitely not being prepared like the online order status states. I left with my food at 7:45. People who came in and ordered after me left BEFORE me! Which defeats the point of me ordering online. They also didn't update my order as complete until 11... Frustrating to say the least

I didn't have a good experience both times they do not listen. I asked them please no house sauce please. Today I ordered a burger had to go back twice and still I just got home and they put what they wanted! So pissed off foreal! About 15 bucks for a burger and still wrong

Burgers where great frys good shakes If you want great burgers and shakes. And fries definitely come to this place.

We ordered to go and our destination was only 5 minutes away but our food was all cold. The fries were cold, the arepas, the burger. Were extremely disappointed to have had a bad experience with the food but heres some other issues: The arepa was too thick. Theres too much batter and the meat and cheese were like a ball. The burger was extremely salty, it was great texture and well cooked but the salt factor was too much. The fries were good but just cold! We arent here to tear anyone down but rather offer constructive criticism. Everyone has their own experiences. The service was nevertheless very friendly and you can tell the staff work well with eachother.
