USO Center JFK International Airport

Everything I checked said open. Showed up to my flight early thinking Id get some shut eye, and relax, but its closed. Now im too early to check bags and no where to sit for the next few hours.

REALLY you close at 2PM many of use need the use of these facilities after 2PM. Not helpful at all, another benefit that we c cant use, great

First off, most JFK employees don't even know that there is a USO in the airport. That is not surprising considering the size of it, which matches the hours, limited. They are open 9-2pm, supposedly every day. By the way, it is located in Terminal 5 across from baggage carousel 3. It is small and doesn't have the amenities that most others have. In their defense, the hours may be due to a lack of volunteers. Who wants to deal with the traffic to get to the airport? I wish I could have taken advantage of the service, considering my long lay over.

Can we work on better times? Service members travel 24/7 I have come through JFK 6x now and every single time it's been long trips when I'm exhausted and all are on duty trips/events. But every single time without fail has been outside the 8hr window this uso is open. Figure out a way to leave the lounge open so exhausted service members can check in and catch a nap on a chair. You don't have to have refreshments out but work something because 9-5 is ridiculous
