        We used to come here reasonably often, food and beer are good, but the service is headed downhill and tonight might have done it for us...after waiting 30 minutes for a table for a group of 4, another group of 4 walked in who loudly noted that they had made a reservation 10 minutes prior to walking in and was sat right away. When we asked the hostess we were told they made a reservation :10 ago (so while we were sitting there waiting a reservation was made for the immediate time) - perhaps we could have done the same while we waited? We walked out. A restaurant that doesnt allow call ahead shouldnt allow people to make reservations :10 before they arrive when there is a wait whats the point!?

      Peter, i don’t see how honoring a reservation shows poor service. It is common for people to make reservations on weekend nights at restaurants. If not, it is not unheard of to have to wait for a table. Online reservations is a great convenience to dinners. Unfortunately, we do not know when the reservation is made. But, we still need to honor them. I am looking at a system that will offer being added to a waitlist as opposed to just reservations. Perhaps in the future you will take advantage of making a reservation yourself.
