After switching from another bank to M&T to obtain my first home mortgage Anthony Coconato was a breath of fresh air from the prior loan officer I dealt with. Whenever I would call or email he always took the time to explain in detail all the financial aspects to me as if I was the only client in the world. Between myself and my realtor contracting him several times a day for months he was always helpful with a kind positive attitude.

We met Anthony Coconato (SONYMA Hall of Fame Loan Officer) of M&T Bank at one of our homeownership expos and this was the loan officer for us. From the moment we submitted our application to closing, he went above and beyond to answer every question we had during this process. Hes amazing! We always felt comfortable talking to Mr. Coconato because he always provided the information and guidance first-time homebuyers need. It was so easy to work with him. Buying a home is a big investment and intimidating, understanding every step of this process was key for us and thats exactly what he provided. We couldnt have done it without him. Very professional & highly recommend.
We are living in our home and could not be happier to have worked with M&T Bank, specifically Anthony Coconato, Ed Ferraraccio, Brian, and everyone else such as our realtors, SONYMA, and attorney & staff who helped us get here.
