Very bad experience. We smelled smoke in the car. The CarPlay did not work at all and we had to hold the phone all the time when driving. Afterwards, they told us we did not order CarPlay so it was not working.

Unfortunately all the bad reviews here are very accurate. Extremely rude staff who clearly show you that they rather not be there talking to you. Charged me $300 for one day rental of a Tesla and when I showed up they offered a civic with no attempt to make it right. Avoid this place.

Worst service ever! DO NOT RENT A CAR HERE! Long line ups! Only one person is helping and nobody cares about your time! I have booked a compact car and they offered me a EV car with 180miles driving capacity, I wanted to drive down to DC and this wasnt an option. They were not trying to help and solve the issue, Ive changed my rental to Avis which is close by and since they didnt have a compact car they have offered me a truck with a free tank of gas! So this is the difference when you care and not care about the customer. This location is a scam.

I had a great experience with this Hertz. Rhonda, the woman who helped us, was very friendly and went above and beyond to make the experience simple and easy for us. The car was clean and the return process was easy. I will definitely be back next time Im in NYC

I should have read the reviews before using this place! I paid extra for a non-EV vehicle because I have a baby & wanted to avoid the extra time spent finding charging points during our vacation. I was given an EV anyway, 50% charge, no refund (despite this car costing less than the car I'd booked). Upon returning the car my card was overcharged by over $100+. Separate to that, as someone else mentioned, you have to pay $10 a day just to use tolls and then the tolls themselves are added on top of that. On vacation, I had to use a toll road to reach a charging point (the closest was 30 mins away from where I was staying) so I effectively had to pay to charge the car each day, on top of the charge itself. Customer service wouldn't talk to me & said to file a complaint online which I have done, twice over the space of a month, and no one has got back to me. Appalling.
