Beautiful hotel, gorgeous interior, great location, next to Times Square but in Korea Town and Broadway. Breakfast and coffee is not free. Very nice and helpful staff were welcoming. Walkability: Near everything Food & drinks: Have to pay for it

The hotel overall, and room specifically were fine. Id stay here again because the gym was quite large, and the whole hotel (including the gym) was clean. This is a Manhattan hotel, so the room is the size of a postage stamp, but so is every other Manhattan hotel Ive stayed at. This hotel is also a great location in relation to the subway. Would recommend this if you are using public transit. Rooms: Clean, but small. This is Manhattan after all. Walkability: Great location in relation to the subway.

Hotel with an unbeatable location in the center of Manhattan. From the hotel you can walk to almost any part of the city, both to Central Park and to all the southern neighborhoods of the hotel. It is also very well connected by metro with a station that leaves at the door of the hotel. The price is a little high for the features of the rooms. In addition, you must add city taxes and an extra cost per room/night of approximately 40usd. We found a special price on the Voyage Prive website and this made it quite cheap.

After I booked this hotel I read the reviews here and was somewhat concerned. Some said horrible rude service - yet I found everyone as pleasant and helpful as I could have wanted. AC doesn't work - yet mine worked so well I turned it down. No fridge in room - yet I had one. Plus an excellent fitness center - as good as I've seen in a hotel. And a great location, very convenient to subways and easy walk to all sorts of great neighborhoods. Sure the rooms are small, but its NYC and no worse than others at this price point. So why the three start rating? Because of the absurd resort fee. They charge $40 a day on top of normal rate and either you use it or lose it every single day. The only feasible place to spend it is in their restaurant, so either you lost it or eat in their good if not great restaurant, while being in NYC surrounded by amazing food options. With a $38 burger (before tip and tax) your best option is breakfast for which you can cover about one person. I complained to the staff about that, and they commented back how they also hate the policy. Raise the room rates and forgo this hidden charge please. Its a shame because its otherwise a recommended option to stay in NY, so why do they go out of their way to irritate their own customers. I've stayed in many Hiltons and Curios and never seen this kind of policy before, so whomever the owner of this one should get over themselves and do away with the policy.

I wouldn't say this hotel is a 4 star hotel. Just average at 3. My experience with the bellhops set the tone for the trip. They were very rude with any request or questions especially requesting for them to hold your luggage they look at you like you have 3 eyes. Not all were bad, but poor service the 1st and last day of my stay ruined this hotel for me. It isn't just a coincidence it appears to be a pattern with some of the staff. We tipped generously too. I'm a native New Yorker too, so it's not some "New Yorkers are different" thing, no the one bell hop just shouldn't work there. Anyways, Location is great you're right next to k-town and the 34th and herald square subway. We had some issues with our sink draining and they fixed that for us so house-keeping was great. I'd stay for the location but otherwise look elsewhere if you're looking for 4 star service.
