This is a review of the open-to-the-public lobby space area of the hotel, I have not been a guest at the hotel. Open since September 2023, Romer Hells Kitchen is an ardently welcome addition to the neighborhood and a bright spot in Hells Kitchen. Theyve done a terrific job with the design of the space. This to me is exactly what the contemporary consumer is hungry for, spaces like this - it truly speaks to & captures our needs. Terrific job. Bravo. Namely, in greater detail: Open space but not too open (still has sectioning but without being fully closed off rooms) Close attention paid to comfortable seating (abundant use of leather & cushioning & booths) Round wood tables with single central leg so you can easily move them around to suit your needs Warm earthy tones creating general atmosphere and feeling of homeyness & comfort whilst still being superlatively modern and functional This should be the gold standard in hotel design I like this hotel lobby space better than all of the other lobbies I regularly hang out at {PUBLIC, citizenM Bowery, citizenM Times Square, The Marlton Ive been to plenty others, those are the ones that made the final cut. And now Romer is in there too. Its nice to have a nice spot to hang out at in Midtown West. We can actually do that now

More like a 1 or 2 star hotel. In the middle of shower, found the room has no body wash or soap. Came down to front desk and waited for like an hour for it.

We stayed there for 7 nights, it was just perfect. It was very central, the room and the lobby were very clean, it wasn't noisy and the staff were really friendly. The beds are also a big plus; they are very comfortable and were made up every day. There were even USB ports in the room, so you didn't need an adapter. I can only recommend this hotel!

The room was large and enough space for 2 persons. The bed was comfortable. We did hear the neighbour room music etc. The location was very good. Close to subway and walking distance to Times Square.
