We are so blown away by Susan Shek & her team. We just received our edited photos back and they are absolutely incredible! Susan is beyond professional, full service, and gave the most incredible advice. (Also on things like suggesting hair extensions, the right place for the best manicure, etc). EVERYONE is asking who we used for photos and we feel so lucky to have worked with Susan & team at our wedding!

If I could give 10 stars I would!!!! Susan and her team were top level professionals and I couldn't have been happier. The quality of our photos is insane. She is worth every penny! Susan is such a kind and beautiful soul. She was great at giving direction and taking control when needed but it wasn't too over the top, which I appreciated. She even went through our Inspo shots while doing our pics to make sure she was capturing and creating the photo ideas I had sent and discussed with her prior. She didn't miss a beat! You get so caught up with the day that is was so important that she remembered these shots because they escaped my mind instantly ! We hired her to do both our Photography and Videography and it was so nice to have her entire team working together, it was seamless!! If you are thinking of booking Susan Shek Photography... DO IT!!!

Susan was our photographer for our wedding in July 2023 at the William Vale Hotel in Brooklyn, NY. I cannot say enough incredible things about her and her work. We first found her after Susan photographed my sisters wedding in May 2022. We loved her photos so much, we knew we wanted her to capture our wedding as well! Susan is extremely organized and focused on the details. She sent us a survey to complete a few weeks prior to our wedding. The day of the wedding, she made sure to capture our vision described in the survey and included all the family/friend group pictures we wanted. We could not be happier with our overall experience with Susan, and now we have her beautiful pictures to always remember our wedding day. 10/10 book Susan for your wedding/event and you will not be disappointed.

We picked Susan to shoot at Tappan Hill for us because of the superior quality of her work, how incredibly organized and easy she was to work with, the way she tailored her services to our special day, and how amazingly good she was at managing our wedding party and boisterous family. We wanted someone who knew how to capture the magic of our venue and not just take generic wedding portraits and Susan absolutely nailed it. Her pictures are dynamic and unique while still being classy and timeless. She caught EVERY detail of our wedding - the food, the rings, the little moments, the details from when we were getting dressed, the way our parents looked at each other - and still somehow found herself in the perfect spot to capture each big moment too. We hung lights on the ceiling of our venue to give ourselves a "sky full of stars" and she somehow used them to make each picture on the dance floor a dreamy, magical moment. We had over 30 family members for pictures on each side and she had them all marching in and out of shots quickly and efficiently, keeping what could have been a chaotic part of the day extremely organized. One of our nephews is extremely camera-shy, but we finally have pictures of him smiling because Susan found out he liked Pikachu and wore a Pikachu hat during portraits just to make sure he looked at her and smiled. It was TRULY a wedding miracle! We got every shot on our wedding list, which was meticulously planned with Susan, and even plenty of ones we didn't think of until we were in the moment. Our First Look photos were unreal. We also surprised our brothers by making them be our "Flower Boys", and Susan not only captured the moment in photos but also caught the moment we surprised them with the news AND got perfect video of them coming down the aisle. Her team's videography was amazing! They turned around a teaser video within a day and an eight minute wedding recap within two weeks! The video shots were incredible, the editing was perfect and the drone shots added just a little more specialness to a perfect day. The pictures were so amazing that one of the highlights of our honeymoon was sitting in the airport lounge waiting for our flight home and looking at the full set of pictures that she'd cleaned up and prepared for us - in less than two weeks!!! If you want someone who is an amazing photographer, organized, talented, unique, classy, timeless and, most importantly, an absolute boss when it comes to running your wedding photo shoot, book Susan Shek!!! We cannot recommend her highly enough.
