Fairway Market of 74th Street

The store has a lot of great items in it but its hard to navigate. The aisles are very small. The lines are very long. I wanted to grab a few things but decided to leave because the line was so long. They need to have more cashiers open. I suppose theyre not going to make the aisles easier to navigate because they do want to provide a lot of items. The grab and go food always looks fresh to me. The fruit is pretty good there as well. Ive been finding the fruit in most places terrible lately.

The Associate in the store was very kind and helpful I appreciated his help. The next time I go back I would hooe he will be there to help me again. His name was Jason very sweet young man.

I wanted a quick and convenient dinner from this Fairway. I bought three Meatballs in Marinara sauce from the counter. First off, if they state in Marinara sauce, surely that suggests there should be some sauce provided with the meatballs, not just that the meatballs have been sitting in marinara sauce but they will give them to you dry? It was the latter unfortunately. Then I discovered that they charge $9 for these three meatballs with no sauce, and I had to buy an extra sauce for an additional $5. Then the disappointment grew when I ate the dinner. The meatballs were terrible - dry and tough, with no flavor. I suspect they had been sitting there for weeks. Basically Fairway, sort it out - its easy - have a taste tester try your food - hell, Ill do it. Any person with good taste would say these meatballs are gross and we should not be charging $3 per ball. People who are busy all day with childcare should be punished for having no time to cook their own dinner by suggesting appalling, expensive food.
