I would like to report an unethical transaction by Northport Spring & Brake on 25A. My son brought his 2020 Chevrolet 2500 pickup in for servicing a couple of weeks ago. He was having trouble with the horn. They told him he needed a new horn module and charged him over $900.00 for service & diagnosing the horn issue. Charging for diagnosing? No repair, just diagnosing. Over $900.00? That doesn't add up. Needless to say he won't be going back to this repair shop. I think the Northport Chamber of Commerce should seriously reconsider their membership. My son & I both serve the community as first responders in the Northport Fire Department. They knew this & still took our money. SHAMEFUL. I wouldn't have put any stars on this post, but had to choose one to get it to save.

I moved to Northport about 5 years ago. I immediately felt a sense of community. I especially enjoyed all the events hosted by The Northport Chamber of Commerce. These events really gave me the opportunity to meet other members of the community. Shortly after joining the Northport Chamber of Commerce, I was honored to become a board member. I am so humbled by the level of dedication these volunteers give to business and the overall community.

As a long time resident of Northport, the chamber of commerce has been a source of information for its residents. Producing the recreational guide, which is the go to for all the happenings in town. The concerts in the park, family fun nights and lighting up Main Street for the holidays are just a few of the contributions they provide. I feel very fortunate to have such an active chamber of commerce in our beautiful village.
