The Appliance Specialist

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They attempted to repair an Electrolux range/cooktop only to cause more damage than originally existed while concurrently damaging the counter top and floor. Same scheduling problems as others complaints: overscheduling and no show. 5 months in and I have a non functioning appliance, damaged property and a lot of wasted time. Don't believe their lies. I have had only the best experiences with The Appliance Specislist. The workers are polite, professional and efficient. I never felt like I was being taken advantage of. Just honest help. I highly recommend

maytag set me up with the company they said they would call the night before...they did not the service came and he was good they needed 2 part said someone would call with an estimated time of part arrival that did not happen called maytag again the had the part...heard nothing from the A S called 2 weeks ago a couple of times 2nd time they gave me a date of today....they called at 7:55 and 7:58 the 2nd call gave me 10 to 15 minutes to respond i was in the shower..i called the 852-number at 8:04 called the 355-at 8:10 told too bad your too late in responding i was very mad and call them A holes not in the abbreviated form---this company can not be trusted i should not be upset? the machine has been broken for months...they also told me on one of the calls i should not contact maytag? why? why did they not contact me the night before as most reputable repairs do Service: Washer/dryer repair

I have mixed feelings about this business. My oven door hinges did get replaced, that's all I needed, but it took two service calls and two months to complete. (waited one month for the first visit to diagnose the problem, and another month to order parts and come back. I told them what the problem was, it was obvious, and the model and serial numbers, so why not show up the first time with the hinges?) It was the customer service that was lacking. The person talked so fast that I could not understand, did not listen to me, and called to make sure that I knew I had to pay for this repair. The oven is 20 years old, clearly no longer under warranty, of course I'm going to pay for it. It wasn't terrible, but it could have been so much more pleasant, and in the future, I will look for a different repair service before calling them again. Service: Oven repair
