Central Park Dental Group

This practice is now K family dentistry after merging with my old dentist. The place itself has very odd design. The entire back room is open so you get to hear about all the dental problems that the other patients are having. The dental hygienist was great. No pain at all when she did the cleaning. The DrD was not great. I've never had a dentist probe so hard into my teeth. He had both hands on the probe and my jaw and pressed so hard I thought my teeth were going to shatter. My old dentist never probed anywhere near that hard. After the pressing he tells me I have a cavity, which is now sore. Odd since I had no pain at all before the check. Guess pressing a metal pick in to a small pit opens it into a full cavity. Needless to say I will never go back there. I'll be going to a different dentist to get a second opinion and have this new pit filled if needed.

I can't rate Central Park Dental or Dr. Gillenwalters high enough! I have been a patient for over ten years and have always had a great experience with either cleanings and exams or fillings when needed. Very professional, great work and lovely, kind staff. Highly recommend.
